Why Submitting Your Unofficial Transcript Each Semester Matters

As part of the Ontario ECE Grants Program, we’re committed to ensuring that funding is used to support your educational journey efficiently and responsibly. One of the most important steps in this process is submitting a copy of your unofficial transcript at the end of every semester in which you’ve received funding.

Why We Require Your Transcript

Your transcript confirms that all courses funded through the program were successfully completed. This verification step helps ensure that program funds are being applied to eligible coursework and supports the Ministry of Education’s goal of maintaining transparency and accountability in funding distribution.

How It Affects Future Funding

While we can approve new applications for future semesters, we cannot release any new funding until your transcript from the previous semester has been received and verified. This means:

• If your transcript isn’t submitted, there may be a delay in receiving your next funding installment.

• Providing your transcript promptly ensures that your funding continues without interruption.

What to Submit

You can download your unofficial transcript directly from your student portal. Make sure it clearly shows your name, your institution, and your final grades for all courses funded through the program.

How to Submit

All transcripts and supporting documents must be uploaded through the Ontario ECE Grants online portal. Do not email your transcript we do not accept documents by email. Instead, upload your transcript using any of the document uploaders available within your Ontario ECE Grants account. This ensures your documents are received securely and linked directly to your application.

Your Next Steps

At the end of each semester:

• Log in to your student portal and save your unofficial transcript as a PDF.
• Log in to your Ontario ECE Grants online portal.
• Upload your transcript through one of the available document uploaders within your most recent application.
• Wait for confirmation that your document was successfully submitted.
